The American Prize Questions and Answers for Conductors

Location: Connecticut, USA

Colleagues,

The American Prize competition has received a number of questions from conductors concerning recordings, ensemble participation and what to include on the tape. We've generalized the questions and posted the answers to our blog.

Here is the link: http://theamericanprize.blogspot.com/2012/02/conductor-q-recent-questions-answered.html

Complete information about the unique competitions of The American Prize, which evaluate recorded performances exclusively, and close next month, are available on the website: www.theamericanprize.org

There are separate competitions for conductors and ensembles (including choruses), with divisions for professional, college/university, community and faith based, and high school ensembles. Previous winners, lists of judges and full rules on the website.

Thanks, all.
