Journey/Seasons themed extended work

I am looking for suggestions for an extended work (9-14 minutes) for my 35 voice community chorus that might fit a theme of "Life's Journey" or "Seasons/Nature" (or a combination of both!)We just finished doing Part 1 of Messiah which was a big success in our community and brought several new members to our group. That work is a tough act to follow and I don't want to scare them away with something inaccessible.
I have plenty of smaller works to round out the program, but I need one larger work to anchor the program. Something in english would be great and of average difficulty level.  Any suggestions?

Try some choruses from Haydn's "The Seasons". Not hard, some are quite attractive.
Best of luck with your program,

Or Thompson "Frostiana" might suit.   Not imo especially great music, but not too difficult and kind of fits your theme.

So is this a cappella choir, choir and piano or choir and orchestra? If the last, what orchestration?

There’s a lot to be said about Corigliano’s “Fern Hill.”  I know it doesn’t look easy but community groups seem to fall in love with it.  Check it out and good luck!
