Kingfisher Chorale, founded in 1992, receives critical acclaim for its performances. Its wide repertoire covers work from the mediaeval period to new commissions and world premieres. It has developed a notable reputation for performing contemporary works by Fisher, Pärt, Downes, Sjöberg. Jewitt, Duxbury and the late Peter Crump.
Kingfisher Chorale's eclectic programming enables it to sing in a wide variety of styles either a capella or accompanied; using instruments of the period where appropriate.
