Interns Join ACDA Team for Summer

During the summer of 2014, ACDA will enjoy the presence of two interns who will assist the association with various projects and who will in turn gain a unique perspective into their profession.
Working in the ACDA national office for a second summer is Taylor Jack Conley (on the right in the accompanying photo).  Taylor Jack is a senior vocal performance major at the University of Tulsa.  He is actively conducting on campus, both as the assistant conductor for the choirs at TU and as the music director for the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia chapter. This Oklahoma native is looking forward to pursuing a master’s degree next spring upon graduation.
Lucas B. Ensign (on the left in the accompanying photo) is enjoying his first summer in Oklahoma City.  He has just completed his senior year at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and will student teach in the fall.  The Illinois native is also an accomplished pianist who “played for everything at Platteville.”  Beyond music, Luke has earned the rank of Eagle Scout.
ACDA is delighted to have these two fine gentlemen on our “campus” for the summer.
