Hailed as one of Orange County's "Best Choirs" (CBS Los Angeles) and ranked as a "Dont-Miss Summer Music Event" (PremiereOC), Choral Arts Initiative brings new choral music to the community on Saturday, July 19 at 8:00 p.m. with its Summer 2014 Series Performance: Reconciliation. Come and enjoy a diverse program constructed by poetic links to create an uplifting narrative story and journey towards hope, joy, and peace. 

Featuring several hot-off-the-press works, including US, world, and regional premieres to include:
  • Choral Arts Initiative’s first commissioned world premiere "I am Music" by emerging composer by Dale Trumbore. 
  • World premiere of "Call it Grace" by Paul Ayres.
  • Exclusive performance of "A Procession Winding Around Me" by Jeffrey Van, with Jeffrey Van accompanying on guitar. 
West Coast premieres: 
  • "Everyone Sang" by Matt Nielsen
  • "Like Barley Bending" by Daniel Brinsmead
  • "Neither Angels, Nor Demons, Nor Powers" by Timothy Takach
  • "Cradle My Heart" by Clint Needham 
  • "Armistice 1918: Everyone Sang" by Craig Carnahan 
Additional choral works by Tarik O'Regan and Dale Warland.
