I'm excited to report that I'll have a TB Ensemble at my high school year this year. Starting small - about 8-10 gentlemen, all whose voices have changed. What pieces have your guys latched onto and had the most success with? I'd like to stick with TB and unison, and if you have a few pieces that would fit on a holiday concert, that would be great! ... Jeffrey KitsonThere's not nearly enough beginning TB music, and the stuff that IS there is sea shanties. This is an area of rep that needs to be developed. I'm excited to see the suggestions!
My suggestion is to look at some SA rep. There's a ton of it, and some is adaptable as needed.

Jamie KathleenAdapting is a good idea. I've had some success with arranging standard carols, especially in their original languages. You can make it suit your exact group!

Chris WheelockKeep in mind that some unison pieces are actually more difficult to tune then a 2 or 3 part piece. I had a choir of 9 7th-8th grade boys that did really well on a 3 part piece a few years ago.
Chrissa RehmOrder anything by Laura Farnell! All fantastic TB for developing choirs. Excellent ranges with polyphony- which is critical! Meaningful text too!

Matt TravisUse rep that you would use in a voice lesson. It's an awesome opportunity to work on vocal development. ANY of the RVW Songs of Travel would be awesome - my students loved them. There are also a lot of great movements from Bach Cantatas that aren't too bad - Der Herr Segne Euch comes to mind. Also lied work really well - these old texts about love and transition really allow for some great teaching opportunities and with the right background info and translation these texts are HIGHLY applicable to dudes that age.

Angela Vaughn HamptonDefinitely look at the works by Dan Davison, published by Walton. Outstanding literature for TB groups.

Nicholas Drew GraySeveral of those familiar solos have been arranged for two voices if you wanted to keep them singing harmonically, just watch out because two voice writing is not easy and some arrangement are significantly better and others not so much....

James SivleyFirst Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro has a bunch of TTBB music that if I didn't send to The Music Library in Nashville is available. Bryce Hayes was supposed to come look at, bud didn't.
