Samuel Reed Carter IVAnything by Elaine Hagenberg. She is, without a doubt, my favorite choral composer. Her accompaniments are incredible and her choral writing is exquisite. "I Will Be a Child of Peace" is my favorite.

Peter RutenbergIf you want to go retro, Dello Joio's mid-century tours de force A Jubilant Song and Song of the Open Road with killer piano are largely forgotten. Great poetry too.

The Colburn Children’s Choir’s third Classical Movements tour brought the choir to Portugal and Spain where they enjoyed a festival performance in Lisbon, three collaborative concerts with local choirs in Spain, and a concert in Iglesia de la Magdalena in the historic UNSECO World Heritage center of Cordoba. In addition to experiencing Portugal’s domination of the European Championship on the night of their concert in Lisbon, the highlights of the tour were the collaborative workshops and concerts with the three local choirs in Spain, including extensive press coverage of the collaboration with Coro Meridianos, an el Sistema-like choir in Seville.

Despite competition from the European Championship finals (Portugal won!), a nice audience at the Palácio da Ajuda in Lisbon.
