DCINY presents an afternoon exploring two different kinds of “light music.” One half features Morten Lauridsen’s elegant Lux Aeterna, an intimate work of quiet serenity centered around a universal symbol of hope, reassurance, goodness and illumination at all levels. The other half features internationally known Venezuelan conductor/composer Cristian Grases leading the young and talented Distinguished Concerts Singers International in a light-hearted, culturally-minded and engaging program.
