A note from Barbara Jones, Artistic Director:
Berlioz’s Messe Solennelle is a perfect piece for the fall — youthful, energetic, interesting, at times intimate and lovely, at times over-the-top — but in all regards, a fun ride! We performed it in Stow in November of 1999, then in a wonderful performance in Boston on Super Bowl Sunday of 2000 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul on Boston Common. What a great time that was! Over the years, many of you have asked if we could revisit this work, so we are going to do so now.
Rehearsals begin Monday, August 29 from 7:30-9:30 in the air-conditioned Parish Hall of the First Parish Church in Stow.
We have a very talented orchestra lined up to accompany you!
