Renaissance Voices, directed by G. Kevin Dewey, will present its annual Alumnae Concert on Sunday, June 5, 4 p.m. at North Congregational Church, 36520 Twelve Mile, Farmington Hills, Michigan. The 21-voice women’s ensemble will perform Messa Salus Infirmorum, a setting of the Latin mass by 19th-century German composer Johann Kaspar Aiblinger. Additional selections will include Pueri Hebraeorum (Randall Thompson), Psalm 150 (David Willcocks), A Gaelic Blessing (John Rutter), I Thank You God (Gwyneth Walker), and works by Orlando di Lasso, Ron Nelson, and Kirby Shaw. The accompanist for the concert will be Gerrie T. Ball.
The women of Renaissance Voices enjoy performing the finest in treble choral literature. The group, based at Henry Ford College in Dearborn, has taken four overseas concert tours and released three CDs.
