Under the artistic direction of Brian MacKay (formerly principal conductor of Chamber Choir Ireland), the ZêzereArts Festival Choir is aimed at experienced singers seeking a challenge and a holiday with a difference.
From July 15th to 22nd, Festival Choir participants will have the opportunity to discover choral works by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, in addition to performing Mozart’s Missa Brevis in F major. The Festival Choir will also join in with the ZêzereArts Symphonic Chorus for a performance of Haydn’s Creation in the atmospheric cloisters of the Convento do Cristo, a 12th century world heritage building, in Tomar, Portugal.
