|Has anyone performed Roy Harris's Symphony for Voices based on three Walt Whitman texts? I would like to know.
Michael Hennagin wrote settings to 3 Walt Whitman poems, published by Walton. Not easy but most rewarding! We samg them 10 years ago and my singers are still asking to do them again.

|Thank you Martin! We were using a Bosendorfer so if we retuned that I would have lost my job! I think folks will find your suggestion very helpful, and many will decide to using a regular organ rahter than deal with the challenges. Very lovely work all the same.

I have seen NYC ballet dance to the Brahms Liebeslieder Waltzes, old and new. Inspite of the fact the singers were in the dark and largely ignored, the piece worked. The Monteveri work that is terric for dance is the ballet Tirsi e Clori.
