Caves...

Even though I have not been an active caver since my early childhood, I may still say that caves have had an enormous fascination for me for a long time now. It all started when an old friend of mine invited me to join his small team that planned to see “Türkenloch” in Lower Austria one day. From that day onwards I was hooked...
Nowadays I am on one hand a member of the Austrian Caving Association, and even went on a holiday tour with them to the Hungarian and Slovaque border two summers ago (also see my Travelpage, if you are interested!) to see some of the marvellous caves there, and on the other I try to see caves open to the public when on holiday far away as well.
Are you trying to make contact with Austrian cavegoers? Here's an email address for a start: cave_vienna@compuserve.com (Martin Roubal)
