Schirmer) has a lot a men's chorus stuff, some appropriate for the holiday season. 69) Well, there's a Swedish collection by G"ote Widlund, published by Carl Gehrmans (CG-6125), most of which are familiar tunes to which you could use the English if you weren't prepared to tackle the Swedish. 70) If you have the time, get in touch with Danny Ray in Dallas. He is the arranger for the Turtle Creek Chorale. His email address is ComposerTx(a)AOL.com. I just bought some arrangements from him which he revoiced for my SATB choir. If you have heard any of the CD's from the Turtle Creek Chorale, you have a sense of his work. 71) Bill, the St. Olaf xmas CD's are full of men's choral arrangements. Try their website. 72) Bill, sometimes SSA music can be used as a TTB song. I did it twice with my men's chorus. You just have guys sings it in there octave. There is a TTBB arr. of Carol of the Bells,. but you can use the SSA arr. with a men's group also. You might take a second look at SSA and see if ranges and text would be appropriate.
