Dear Listers,
Even though I received A LOT more requests for this information than I
got actual handbook copies I still had fun researching this topic. I also
would like to say that Choralist is a GREAT tool for members of the choral
community. I've seen everyone from beginners to veterans asking questions,
and/or sending information. For a student as inquisitive as I really
appreciate this service and those who have helped me so far. Anyhow... back
to the matter at hand. I am sending a list, AFTER my signature line, of web
addresses that contain
different choral handbooks, please note that i'm only sending a handful of
sites, if i would include ALL the results from my online search, it would
include well over 50 sites. If you wish to look at more sites, just search
for "choir AND handbook" OR "choral AND handbook" and you will get a large
selection to look at. I hope this is helpful for those of you who have been
requesting this information.
Again, anyone who still has handbooks out there that they can send to
me via email PLEASE do so, BUT also I am now wishing to expand my request.
I would also like to see, if possible, copies of syllabi that teachers
(public or private) use for either their choirs OR teaching private voice
lessons, and class voice. I'm starting to teach privately and this
information regarding lessons would be GREATLY appreciated. Please respond
