Handel, Dettingen Te Deum pronunciation of "cherubim"Dear collegues, thank you all for your responses to my topic: Pronouncing "Cherubim" in Haendels "Dettingen Te Deum" (original english text, because Haendel composed it living in London after a victory of the british and austrian army aganinst the french army in Dettingen/Germany) Compilation: There were 17 answers. 13 - Tshare-ubim (or something similiar, like in "chair") 4 - Kare-ubim (or keerobim, like "careful") So i decided to make my choir sing "Tsharoobeem" Thanks again for your help!
