I had so many requests to pass along the translation to "Niska Banja"
that I thought I would simply post the results to the list. There were two
posts that were helpful, but apparently some of the language may have been
corrupted. Here are the two posts:

"Niska Banja topla voda "

"Niska Banja" is a town in Serbia with mineral springs (Banja means mineral
springs)
"topla voda" means "warm water"

"Zanis lije ziva zjoda"

I believe this should be "Za nislije zivot zgoda"
"For our people life is favourable"

"Emka ravla, Ando nisi name kavla
Nislike su fine dame Neseta ju nikad same
Jek duj, duj, duj de suj duj
Cumi davte caje ando muj."

These words are in the language of the Romany people (Gypsies) of the area.

I sing (and dance) a version of this folk song with Serbian words (I grew
up with it). If you want the Serbian words, I would be happy to provide you
with them.
