Dear List,
Each year, our Pops concert is based on a theme. This year's is the
best of Broadway.
I have the opener -You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray and the
closer, Finale B aka No Day But Today from Rent.
But I'm looking for suggestions for ensemble numbers for my:
Concert Choir 65 voice mixed int. to adv. SATB/div
Women's Ensemble, 30 voice SSA or easy SSAA
35 Frosh Chorale SAB
Bella Voce, 24 Voice females SSAA or SSA int/adv.
Chamber Singers 27 Voices SATB/div. Adv.
It helps if they are upbeat and can be easily choreographed. I'm
looking to do one piece with WE, Chorale, and CC, but would like to do
two with each of the advanced groups.
I'll be happy to post a compilation of the responses I get.
