Several years ago, I heard Bach's "Come Sweet Death" chorale performed
regular, and then in a kind of free form version where each phrase was sung
at each singers own pace, starting when the director cued each section. It
sounds like a harmonic blur in slow motion. Very cool. Someone said it was
the "Dale Warland" version. Does anyone know more about it or a source for a
reference recording? I did it back then, but as I get older, I forgot what I
did exactly, and I do not have a recording from that year. If you can assist
in any way with information or suggestions, please respond to the address
below.
