Orange County (CA) Women's Chorus presents "You Can't Sing That!"
Event Date: May 30, 2009
Posted: May 25, 2009
Location: California, USA
Choir type: Community Choirs
"Banned books set to music" is the theme of the OC Women's Chorus's final concerts of the 2008-09 season. All the texts and authors featured on the program have been banned or challenged over the years, but they're some of the most beautiful and intelligent words we've ever sung (and completely kid-friendly!). The OCWC, one of the top community choruses in the Southland, is partnering with Latitude 33 Bookshop for these performances, which will include a post-concert reception and book sale.
