How do I change an URL address for a choir already listed?Date: May 29, 2009
Hi! We have our choir listed in the directory with its
"geocities" address. But as geocities will not provide its free
hosting any more, we moved our site to a new hosting free
provider. So, how can I change the former url address? If I
cannot (what I supose), you can check this:
http://www.geocities.com/coropaxmundi
(which was the former url), and this:
http://capellapaxmundi.orgfree.com/
(the new one)
if the change must be performed by the ChoralNet webmasters,
would you mind to do it for us? Just update the URL for the
chamber choir "Capella Pax Mundi", from Costa Rica.

Yes, at the moment it has to be a ChoralNet staff person, although we expect that will change eventually. I have changed it.

Thanks for posting this request, Oscar. We still have over 160 other choirs in our directory that are using Geocities for their websites, and those links will soon all go "bad," so I hope that other choirs see your message. I would suggest, however, that they simply submit their new websites using the "New choir link" form:
As long as they use the same choir name, I will find and remove the old link, replacing it with the new one.
