Join us this Summer for our 5th annual Festival of Open Sings. We're getting together Wednesdays evenings in July to sing some great music and raise funds and awareness for some great causes. Pass this word along, and invite your friends!

At Open Sings, singers and instrumentalists gather at 7 pm for a 45-minute rehearsal, then we break for some delicious refreshments. Finally, everyone returns to the sanctuary and we sing straight through without stopping. It's not so much a performance as it is a chance to sing through some really great music together.

Here's this year's schedule (always Wednesdays at 7pm):
July 1 - Fauré Requiem - to benefit CARE, the international relief organization
July 8 - Haydn Mass in Time of War - to benefit Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity
July 15 - Mozart Requiem - to benefit Emergency Foodshelf Network (guest conductor Matthew Culloton)
July 22 - Verdi Requiem - to benefit National Alliance on Mental Illness
July 29 - Vivaldi Gloria - to benefit City House

Come for one, come for a few, come for all! Whatever you like.

We ask for a $10 donation (it's completely voluntary), and every dime goes to the charity of the evening.

Singers can bring their own scores or borrow them at the door. We have all the orchestral parts and music stands. We invite musicians of all ages.

This all takes place at Church of the Epiphany, 4900 Nathan Lane N, Plymouth MN.

There's no experience required. Lots of the musicians there will have done these pieces before, but many will be doing them for the first time. All are welcome.
