Melodia Women's Choir of NYC celebrates its seventh season with the world premiere of Notes Upon the Breeze, a new commissioned work by award-winning composer Chris Lastovicka – the winner of Melodia's Women Composers Commission Competition. The piece is set to the poetry of U.S. Poet Laureate Kay Ryan.
 
Cynthia Powell, Artistic Director, will conduct Melodia’s 35 singers, with Taisiya Pushkar, piano; Transfiguration String Quintet; Lindsay Haughton, percussion; and Alice Jones, flute.
