Resources for Norwegian folk singing: kveding

Hey, listers--
Having seen the Oslo Kammerkor for the second time this fall, I found myself once again floored by the choir's ability to translate what I gather was originally a solo vocal tradition into an incredibly expressive choral art.  Their printed programs refer to Norwegian folk singing as "kveding," for which I have been incredibly hard-pressed to find good resources.  I am not necessarily looking to become a kvedar, but I would love to learn a bit more about this tradition.  Does anyone know of any resources, online or in print?  Or is this practice truly still a folk tradition, passed down only orally?  Any leads would be fantastic!

Thanks,
AJ Lund
