The Norristown Chorale presents its annual holiday concert on Saturday, December 5, at 4:00 pm at The First Baptist Church of Norristown, 455 Burnside Avenue, West Norriton.  Led by Artistic Director Marcia Cook and Accompanist Beverly McGuire, the ensemble will offer both traditional and contemprorary songs of the season.  The delightfully tongue-in-cheek  "A Musicological Journey Through the Twelve Days of Christmas" by Craig Courtney, will be featured.  The audience will be invited to join the Chorale in singing a medley of familiar carols.  A free will offering will be taken to support concert costs. 

 

The Chorale is an all-volunteer, SATB, non-profit vocal organization, dedicated to bringing the joy of choral singing to Norristown and the surrounding community.  Rehearsals will resume for the spring season on Tuesday, January 5th at 7:00 pm, in the sanctuary at First Baptist.  Adult and high school students of all voice parts are welcome; ability to read music is helpful but not necessary.  More information about the Chorale or the upcoming concert can be obtained by calling 610-505-3038.
