Songs of Nativity
with Orchestra Gloria

Respighi's beautifully lush Laud to the Nativity shimmers with heavenly music for angels, Mary, and chorus. The richly-orchestrated work contains some of the most splendid coloratura music ever written for solo soprano. The program also includes a charming collection of Christmas music by Swedish composer Anders Öhrwall, as well as original compositions by artistic director Allen H Simon celebrating this joyous festive season. Featuring soloists Pamela Sebastian, Heidi Waterman, and Brian Thorsett.
