Any singers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area are encouraged to join the Global Harmony Community Chorus for our 6th season.  In addition to great repertoire (much by local composers such as Stephen Paulus, Abbie Betinis, David Evan Thomas, Catherine Dalton, and Janika Vandervelde), we will also have the opportunity to work with Stephen Hatfield as our composer-in-residence. 

 

Global Harmony, a 120-voice community chorus, sings to raise funds for and awareness of non-profit organizations that work for peace and justice thoughout our world.  To date, we have raised over $86,000.  This year, we will be singing for a local organization:  Neighborhood House in St. Paul.

 

The music is challenging, engaging, and the standards are set high.  We rehearse for just 6 weeks (beginning January 3rd) and perform the weekend of February 6 and 7, 2010.
