Illinois Wesleyan University Christmas Choral Concert

The Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music will present its annual Christmas Choral Concert on Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Holy Trinity Church, located at 704 N. Main St. in Bloomington, at 3:00 p.m. The program will feature the Illinois Wesleyan University Collegiate Choir, University Choir, and Chamber Singers, conducted by Scott Ferguson and Brian Russell, and guest choir, the Wheaton Warrenville Chamber Madrigal Choir, conducted by Gordon Krauspe. The program will include compositions by Palestrina, Dering, Praetorius, Holst, Thompson, Boyce, Carey, Whikehart, and others.


Ticket prices are $10 for general admission, $5 for senior citizens and IWU alumni, $2 for High School and College students. Admission is free for students 8th-grade and under. Tickets are available at the School of Music office or at the door.
