The workshop will explore a wide range of sacred repertoire, from early music to contemporary works by international and Latvian composers. A complete list of repertoire is listed below and the purchase of these scores is included in the registration fee. Registration for the workshop will follow an application process to ensure a balance of voices. We invite both choral singers and conductors to join us! The workshop and mini-concert will both take place at St. John’s Latvian Lutheran Church, 200 Balmoral Ave, Toronto. The schedule for the workshop weekend is as follows:
He supplemented his knowledge of Baroque music performance at courses in Dartington, England and Bremen, Germany and pursued conducting courses in the third Eric Ericson Master Class for Choral Conductors in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Ints is an active choral workshop clinician and has coached students attending the International Workshop for Young Musicians in Ogre, Latvia. He has participated in the organization of International Chamber Choir Festivals Riga dimd (Riga Resounds) (1999, 2001) and the Latvian National Song Festivals (1998, 2001, 2003, 2008).
