Catawba College Singers Make 2010 Tour of Mid-Atlantic States

The Catawba College Singers, of Salisbury, NC, will make their 2010 Tour of the Mid-Atlantic States January 7-14.. The Singers, under the direction of Associate Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Choral and Sacred Music Studies, Paul E. Oakley, plan performance stops in Frederick, Md.; Washington, D.C.; Lancaster, Pa.; Easton, Md.; and Raleigh, N.C.

Among the highlights of the tour will be a performance in Washington National Cathedral on Sunday, January 10. On that date, the Catawba Singers will offer a Choral Prelude Concert there at 3:30 p.m. and will also participate in the Cathedral’s Service of Evensong at 4 p.m.

Alumni, friends of the College, as well as prospective students and their families are invited to attend one of the tour performances in their geographic area. Most of the performances are scheduled in host churches. A schedule of tour performances is as follows:
