The St. Olaf Choir and conductor Anton Armstrong announce 18-concert national tour, including performances at Carnegie Hall in New York, Verizon Hall in Philadelphia and Severance Hall in Cleveland, Jan. 23-Feb. 15, 2010
With its centennial just two years away, this tour marks the start of the St. Olaf Choir’s countdown to its 100th anniversary. Founded in 1912 at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., under the direction of F. Melius Christiansen, the St. Olaf Choir is internationally recognized as a creative force behind America’s a cappella choral tradition.
