The voice is an integral part of our human expression. It shows the world who we are, and enables us to communicate with people of other cultures. Singing together can forge strong relationships and provides deeper insights into different world perspectives. Amy’s experience and knowledge of delivering ‘world’ music workshops will engage and inspire singers of all ages and abilities. Her teaching methods encompass call and response, learning by rote and kinaesthetic stimuli (combining sound with movement). Some written music will be used on the course but knowledge of sight reading is not required! Amy invites you to join her in exploring a rich variety of songs from different cultures – from Africa and its diasporas to Europe, the Americas and beyond…
