The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus seeks an experienced choral conductor to fill the part-time position of Director of the Chalice Choir.

The Chalice Choir, with approximately 60 adult members, performs for services three Sundays a month and rehearses weekly.  The choir, which gives two concerts a year – a December holiday concert and a spring concert – performs a wide variety of choral music, from traditional classical to popular and contemporary.  The church has a vibrant music program with two children’s choirs, a smaller adult choir along with the Chalice Choir, many professional musician members, and a high value on artistic quality.

The First Unitarian Universalist Church is a 650 member church located in Clintonville in Columbus.  It provides a liberal voice to the religious spectrum in central Ohio and is a place where people on a variety of spiritual paths come together to grow in religious depth and to learn about and embody their faithfulness in the world through freedom, reason, tolerance, and unconditional love.
