Toronto Choral Workshop presented by the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir

The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir (TMC) presents a Singsation Saturday choral workshop on Saturday, February 27, 2010.   Singsation Saturdays invite anyone who loves to sing to join with noted guest conductors, TMC choristers and other singers to learn about and sing some of the great choral masterpieces. Musical scores are available for singers to borrow during the workshop.
Saturday, February 27, 2010: Music of the Renaissance with Guest Conductor Patrick Wedd
Participants will sing some of the great music of the Renaissance, including works by William Byrd, Palestrina and other Renaissance masters under the direction of Patrick Wedd. Patrick Wedd is Artistic Director of Musica Orbium and Director of Music at Christ Church Cathedral in Montreal. 
Time: Saturday, February 27 from 10:30 am – 1 pm
Location: Yorkminster Park Baptist Church, 1585 Yonge St., Toronto (In the Sanctuary, please enter through the main Church doors off Yonge Street)
Price: $10 – includes refreshments
Participants can register at the workshop.
