Searching choralnet

What is the best way to search choralnet when you have a broad enquiry?   I'm looking for some unusual ideas in warm ups but when I entered "warm ups"  into the search I got 581 responses.    Clicking on "compilations"  helped somewhat but it's heavy going.

Are there any short cuts to finding posts which include long lists?

Thank you

This doesn't really answer your general question, but as for your specific question about warm-ups, you might try this resource list, accessible by clicking on Resources > Rehearsal > General rehearsal. Don't forget to go to the second page.

I think this request demonstrates the need for an "Advanced Search" option on ChoralNet, where one could add specific limitations to the search, such as searching just the subject lines of the archived messages. Common terms/phrases such as "warm ups" result in a lot of links to messages that only make passing mention of the term, rather than ones that are more specifically focused on it.

BTW, about the presentation of the search results, don't forget that you can click (once) on the column headers to sort the results by Title, Author, or Date. While not useful in Jane's search, that feature can be helpful.
