Carolyn, keep an eye on our Workshops announcement page for opportunities that come up this summer, and research them for next summer.

... OK, my message decided to send itself while I was trying to look something up. I was about to suggest to Carolyn that she complete a User Profile on ChoralNet so allay any suspisions that her post may have been spam.

I highly recommend the European American Musical Alliance in Paris (taught in English and French). It's a month-long summer program taught in the style of the legendary Nadia Boulanger and has programs in conducting, composition, and chamber music, with scholarships available. Although I was in the composition program there, we worked closely with the conductors and all sang together in the chorus, a required component of the program. (Singing was essential to Boulanger's teaching.) The students in my classes were exceptional -- varied ages and nationalities -- and all quite focused. Find out more here: http://eamusic.org/
