Dr. Dennis Shrock, professor emeritus of The University of Oklahoma, former editor of The Choral Journal, and author of the newly released Oxford University Press textbook Choral Repertoire is one of the foremost and respected authorities on choral music in the world. He will be at Boise State University for sessions open to all interested parties.

Topics will include:

· Performance practice of pre-nineteenth-century repertoire

· Effective gestural communication

· How to create exciting concert programming

· Current trends in choral music
