Need help with last line of DaemonDate: February 23, 2010 by Jason Sickel
 I'm hoping those of you with an excellent understanding of Latin use and syntax can help me better understand the last line of Orban's Daemon Irrepit Callidus. I've been working to make sure I have a solid word for word translation for myself and my students. Can you help me translate the last line - "Cordis aestum non explebunt, non arcebunt, Daemon! Daemon!"
I'm specifically getting stymied by "aestum"

I found an online translator that claims that aestum means to burn with desire. Of course it doesn't know Cordis, Explebunt or Arcebunt.
Please e-mail me your findings if you discover the whole phrase.

They shall not quench, they shall not shut in, the heart's fervour.
Other choices of words are possible and might suit the context better.

The phrase should be translated more or less by
"They neither fulfill nor put out the desire of the heart." (aestus (has many meanings) here = desire, longing.
