Performance Space in Chicago

We are looking for a new performance space in the Chicago area for our Summer concert.  What are your favorite performace spaces in Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square and Wrigleyville areas?

Stephen, it would probably help if you told us who "we" are, as I just pointed out privately to someone else looking for a performance venue.  Since you haven't posted a ChoralNet bio, it's impossible to guess.

I went to Lakeview High School, grew up in Ravenswood about 6 blocks from Wrigley Field and spent my teenage years hanging around the areas of which you speak.  First, agreeing with John, who are "we"?  Is this a large group or a chamber choir?

I know many, many fine, accoustically lovely churches in the area that would work for many of your needs. Do you want more of a "hall"?  The Tuners Hall, in Lincoln Square would work if you didn't want a church.  I love Bethany UCC across the street from Ravenswood School on Paulina--I was christened there--the accoustics are lovely --great floor and wood all over and gorgeous "Good Shepherd" statue--but don't know what their current piano is like. I know "of" the organist there and know they do have some sort of concert series you could perhaps attach yourself to.  Let us know what you need or contact me off list.
