All Children's Chorus of Annapolis (ACCA) is a community youth chorus for singers age 7-17, that strives for vocal excellence, diversity in our membership, and making a difference in the lives of our children by teaching them the rewards of hard work, team play and service to the community.  A non-profit 501(c)(3) Maryland corporation, ACCA has a Managing Artistic Director, Assistant Directors, Musicianship Instructors and an Accompanist.   ACCA is committed to developing each singer’s vocal technique, music literacy, performance discipline, self-esteem & ability to work well with others.

We are proud of our comprehensive music education program that includes regular musicianship training for each child.  Our weekly rehearsals focus on vocal technique, ear training, Kodály solfege exercises, and performance discipline.  Approximately twelve or more performances during the school year are included to support our community of Annapolis, Anne Arundel County and throughout the state.  Highlight performances include a recent tour to Paris, singing with the Barenaked Ladies at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, concerts with Annapolis Symphony Orchestra, Annapolis Opera and Opera AACC, singing at the U. S. Naval Academy Chapel, the Statehouse, the Maryland Young Voices Festival, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Breakfast.  Members of the Treble Chorus & Chamber Singers are invited to participate in an annual choir tour.  Previous tours include Charleston, Cincinnati, New Orleans, and Paris, France.  This June, members of ACCA’s Treble Chorus and Chamber Singers are headed on tour to Orlando as they have been invited to perform at Walt Disney World!

The members of ACCA are serious about their music. There are three levels for children ages 7 to 18:  Training Chorus, Treble Chorus and Chamber Singers.  The artistic director selects music carefully to ensure artistic merit, a challenge for the children, and a diversity of styles. The music transcends cultural and theological boundaries, from old Welsh folksongs, to the classics of the old masters, to the best of contemporary composers.  Members of the chorus have been selected to participate in the highly regarded All-State Choruses, ACDA regional and national honor choirs, as well as having landed roles with most regional theater companies including Washington National Opera.

We welcome all children the opportunity to be a part of our choral music program.  Our children attend different places of worship and schools throughout Anne Arundel, Prince Georges and Baltimore Counties. Our music provides the choristers the opportunity to sing in different languages and across the boundaries of other cultures and theologies.  Auditions can be scheduled by visiting our website.
