Voicing: Men's Voices FINAL CALL: ILLINOIS ACDA CHORAL COMPOSITION for MEN's VOICES Application Deadline: Postmarked by April 30th, 2010. Illinois ACDA hosts a choral competition to support the composition of quality choral music in the state of Illinois. This year, Illinois composers with a creative voice and clear compositional ability are invited to submit works for MEN'S CHORUS (TB, TTB, TBB, TTBB). The winning composition will be premiered by the Director's Chorus of Illinois-ACDA, an adult mixed choir. In addition, winning composers are invited to discuss their winning works and to display their other compositions at our annual summer ReTreat. Detail: All Illinois composers, even if not currently a member of ACDA, are eligible and encouraged to submit their works for consideration. The composition should be suitable for advanced high school-level/entering college-level men's chorus.
