Margaret Hillis Conducting Symposium, June 20-25, 2010

The Margaret Hillis Conducting Symposium is a five-day intensive conducting seminar focusing on all aspects of conducting, including score study, conducting technique, and rehearsal strategies.  The acclaimed symposium faculty including Bruce Chamberlain, Vance George, Cheryl Frazes Hill, James Jordan, Stephen Squires, and Duain Wolfe will be leading you through numerous conducting sessions as well lecture discussions relevant to the field.  During this symposium, you will receive personalized attention as you conduct the other participants.  A special feature of this symposium includes an opportunity for you to conduct an instrumental ensemble. Your final conducting session with the instrumental ensemble and chorus will be videotaped and sent to you after the symposium concludes.
