Morning classes in Sightsinging, Renaissance Singing and Gospel Singing will be available, taught by 7 guest artists, who also offer private voice lessons, and perform lunch-time mini-concerts every day. Chorus rehearsals are evenings, with the final concert on Saturday night -- featured are works by Bernstein, Barber, Ives, Irving Fine, Russell Woollen, William Schuman and 3 movements of the new Eric Whitacre work "The City and the Sea." Workshop participants generally stay with local singers, welcome and farewell parties are at local ranches, and the week opens and closes with participation in Masses at the Cathedral of St. Helena (modeled after the Votive Church in Vienna) and St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral, for the Feast of Ss. Peter and Paul. Info http://www.musikantenmt.org/0910season.html#HCW.
