Toronto Mendelssohn Choir Apprentice Auditions-May and JuneDate: May 4, 2010 Choir type: Professional Choirs Voicing: Mixed
The Toronto Mendelssohn Choir (TMC) invites experienced choristers between 17 - 22 years of age to join the TMC for five performances (and associated rehearsals) over the 2010/11 season, including two concerts with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. This is the second year of the TMC's Apprenticeship program.
Each TMC Apprentice is mentored by an adult TMC chorister, is given four voice coaching sessions by a qualified instructor, and receives a bursary to cover the cost of joining the Choir. The TMC Apprentice Program gives young choristers the opportunity to sing great choral music at a standard of excellence unmatched across the country. Auditions for the TMC Apprentice Program are being held in Toronto in May, June and September.
