"Bravo, Beethoven!" features rare Liszt cantata

On Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 8:00 PM,  two NY metro areas choruses, The Arcadian Chorale (NJ) and the Richmond Choral Society (NYC) will join forces with the Staten Island Philharmonic in "Bravo, Beethoven!"
The program will open with the Western Hemisphere Premiere of Liszt's  Kantata on the Inauguration of the Beethoven Monument in Bonn (1845) S. 67, conducted by Marina Alexander. Maestro Jose Alejandro Gusman  will then direct the combined forces in Beethoven's Symphony #9
The performance will take place at the very beautiful  St. Peter's RC Church , 53 St. Mark's Place, Staten Island, NY.  Church is wheelchair accessible.
