On Sunday June 13th at Carnegie Hall, Manhattan Concert Productions will feature the National Festival Chorus and the National Children’s Choir lead by internationally acclaimed conductors, Elena Sharkova and Craig Arnold, conductor of the Grammy-winning Nordic Choir from Luther College. They will present works by Stroope, Paulus, Chilcott and a special performance of the Paul Oakley arrangement, We Are One Voice.
On the second half of the program, we will present an outstanding ensemble out of Houston, Texas called The Conrad Johnson Jazz Heritage Orchestra. They will perform arrangements by their legendary founder, Conrad O. Johnson, such as Zero Point, Lost Love, Do You Dig It Man?, and a highlight performance of Duke Ellington’s “A” Train arranged by Samuel Jackson.
