On July 3rd, at 7 PM, in the magnificent Crystal Cathedral, the internationally acclaimed All-American Boys Chorus, under the direction of Wesley Martin, will take the stage for an inspiring production that will thrill music lovers of all ages! These superbly trained young men, ranging in age from 9 to 14 years old, will present a spectacular concert entitled God Bless America! Veterans of concert tours in North America, Europe and Asia, the 80 choristers will join forces with a men's chorus comprised of 50 AABC alumni to present an Independence Day concert honoring the United States of America, celebrating our nation's musical history, and saluting the men and women of our armed forces. The 130 voices will be accompanied by instrumentalists and the mighty Crystal Cathedral Hazel Wright pipe organ! The program will also include audience favorites from throughout the AABC's 40-year history -- from the California sounds of the Beach Boys to Broadway selections from "West Side Story" and "Man of La Mancha," swinging songs from the Big Band era, as well as great jazz standards from the pens of Duke Ellington and Jimmy McHugh. The centerpieces of the concert will be breathtaking, specially arranged, renditions of "Let Freedom Ring," "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" and "God Bless America."
