The Free HIMbook is a clickable directory of more than 400 public domain hymns, choruses, anthems, and Spirituals, with a web directory linking to tens of thousands of pieces of public domain choral sheet music from around the world, pieces both sacred and secular.   Point, click, print, and enjoy -- for free!

 

At present, the Christmas boxes are front and center on the HIMbook, containing links to Christmas and Advent hymns for both mixed and male choirs.  Also, extended coverage is just beginning on some featured hymns -- each of the Hymn Love Story Pages feature a single hymn, and provide links to free sheet music, lyrics, and chords, in addition to providing the back stories and commentary that could provide ideas for program notes and lectures (please don't completely copy and paste, but a little copying and creative reworking would be quite all right).  The pictures are all from Wikimedia Commons, which means that you can also use them in your program notes for free.  Again, enjoy!
