Multi-Part Songs from Around the World: Work Discs for Community Choirs

Choir type: Community Choirs
Voicing: Mixed
Betsy Sansby, who leads the One World Community Choir of Minnetonka, MN, has just produced the first in a set of work discs for community choir leaders.  Each 60-70 minute disc contains all the parts to five or six  a cappella songs from around the world.  Cost: $15 plus shipping.

The first disc includes:
Kudekukuru (a spellbinding, 5-part rainforest chant, with optional rainstorm and drum track included).
Follow the Heron (a gorgeous, 3-part ballad by contemporary Scottish singer/songwriter, Karine Polwart).
Sail Away, Ladies (a rousing, 3-part Appalachian song from Kentucky dating back to the Civil War period)
Shosholoza (a 3-part miners' song, masterfully arranged by the Drakensberg Boys Choir of South Africa)
Hold On Just a Little While Longer (an inpiring Negro Spiritual with non-religious lyrics. Includes optional solo track).

100% of all profits from the sale of these discs will go to CARE.ORG, to support their programs to fight poverty and empower women and girls in the poorest regions of the world.  For free sample tracks, contact Betsy Sansby: bsansby@comcast.net
