CHORAL PROJECT COMES TO BARBADOS

Singers meet in Barbados to give concert this August

 

The 100 Voice Project is scheduled to take place the weekend of August 20th – 22nd in Barbados. Persons have been intrigued as to the concept of the project. As it may be suggested it is indeed a project and will be used to highlight that music is the true universal language.  Persons from various countries will meet in Barbados to rehearse and put on just two concerts. Singers and participants include persons from as near as our Caricom neighbours and USA well as participants from as far as Australia and South Africa. Participants including those from India have a wide and varied background in music, and this project has also seen the excitement of composers and arrangers of several countries, such as Mexico and Holland requesting that their music be performed as part of the project.
